That could have. For whatever reason, I could never get Cass to follow me. Someone had told me to get her help, and I just couldn't get the option in my dialog with her to follow me, or anything. Gotta be something else I either didn't do, or did, but shouldn't have. Dunno

She is kind of a bitch.. I think yr karma has to be neutral to good and you have to have high speech.. After you finish "Heartache by the Numbers" (which never moves into the completed section for whatever reason ) you can ask her what's she gonna do next, then tell her she shouldn't rot in that place drinking herself to death, then tell her to follow you..

If that didn't work it's prolly a karma/speech issue.. Also think you need good standings with all the Crimson Caravan which you should have if you beat the Heartache quest..
