Marvel storylines.

So there's a new series coming out here, "Marvel's Greatest Books" or something. Each volume is a whole story, so a few original issues I assume (hard cover). I need you to tell me if these stories are any good.

Spiderman: Coming Home.

X-Men: Gifted

Iron Man: Extremis.

These are the first 3 coming out.

I remember enjoying Extremis. Not familiar with the other two.

Those are good but old (2005-2007ish) arcs.

I realize they're old.

I just want to know if they're good. Heard a lot of good thing about Extremis, haven't heard a thing about the other two.

I just got Netflix again and added Iron Man: Extremis to my cue. Will probably watch it tomorrow.

Quick research shows that the X-Men one is the first story from Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men run. Which people say is good.

It sounds like something similar to here in Australia. The same books have been release as the Ultimate Marvel Graphic Novel Collection. I have been receiving two books from the series every month. So far I have:
Spiderman - Coming Home
X-Men - Dark Phoenix
Iron Man - Extremis
The Ultimates - Super-Human
Spiderman - Birth of Venom
Thor - Reborn
Captain America - Winter Solider
The Incredible Hulk - Silent Screams
Wolverine
Astonishing X-Men - Gifted
Capatin Britain - A Crooked World
I have been really enjoying reading all of these stories. I suggest you invest in the whole collection if you are a Marvel/comic fan.

Might be worth checking out, the storylines I've read out of those are generally pretty good.

By the way, I had no idea Joss Whedon did comic books.

He's written some. Had a run on Astonishing X-Men, did some Runaways along with various comics related to Buffy, Angel and Firefly.
