For the Tigers, though, I think Soriano is the final piece. They have everything except for a dominant closer. I wouldn't trust a 300 lb. rookie closer for a championship caliber team, but then again I've never managed in the big leagues.

Think you pretty much nailed it here. I would think their confidence would be higher in someone like Soriano, especially for a team of Detroits caliber, who is only missing someone competent in that spot.
