His overness level when he started that Punk feud was nuts. Like nothing we've seen in YEARS. He had all the momentum in the world. He was the next mega-star waiting to be made. And they fucked it up royally. It was ridiculous.

I don't even think he needed to win the title. The direction they've gone with the title is fine. Jobbing him out for almost half a year consecutively though is just a ridiculous example of WWE having no fucking clue how to build a new star.
