Co-dependent as in, using bandwidth that could potentially affect his gaming experience if the always on was implemented.

As far as not getting the Xbox, that was kinda his point. He WANTS to get it, as many others would as well. However, the always on delimiter would hurt many consumers that do not live in an area that has reliable internet, thus discouraging the purchase of their (maybe) favored choice?

Not really anything personal about the emotional pleading, reference Sim City or D III for the same kinda perspective.

People can always not buy stuff, sure.
