What was wrong with the ultimate x? What exactly were you expecting? I can understand you not enjoying every match going 100 miles a minute, but this is one that calls for it. It's the x division in their signature match, it's supposed to be a spotfest, and I thought it was a pretty fun spotfest

it was shit. These spotfests involving the smaller indy looking guys nowadays have descended into a bunch of retarded transitions into daft indy spots. A spotfest can still be done well as long as it all looks really crisp (if you're insistent on going a million miles an hour) and/or there is a bit of logic involved as opposed to "skinny guy literally pushes other skinny down with one arm (despite skinny guy getting kicked in the face 2 minutes ago and no selling it) and then takes half an hour to setup next convoluted spot with the third guy probably involving some kind of indy kick or stomp whilst the whole time skinny guy that got pushed stays put for half an hour". At least these things are done properly in WWE or Japan (I don't "enjoy" spotfests at all but see DeVitt/Low Ki/Ibushi for how guys this size can do some really fucking impressive things whilst maintaining a bit of common sense). You could see the kind of shit put on in that ultimate X match in pretty much any skinny guy indy fed across the world.
