Great PPV. Every match was good and some were great. Storylines developed, characters evolved, and the RVD announcement is exciting even though I'm not a big fan of the guy. Interested to see where things go with everyone involved in the show.

Every match went to a conclusion that either crowned a new champ or gave a sense of fulfillment.

The last match was so predictable, but it was entertaining.

I'm interested to see where RVD will fit into the current landscape of WWE. The gimme is a feud with CM Punk tearing him apart over ruining his career for pot or whatever, but I'm not exactly sure WWE would throw all of that out there so openly. I wonder if Vince saw all those shoot videos he did over the past few years...

RVD would only hold 3MB back. Slater defeated a former World Champ on Smackdown and a former U.S and Tag champ on Superstars. Clearly setting him up for a World Title match at Summerslam vs Cena.

MITB is getting to Summerslam and Survivor Series level where it sells itself. Probably the greatest concept the WWE has come up with since Hell In A Cell. A surpise appearence would blow the roof off, especially in an ECW town like Philly.

A huge pop is nice, but it doesn't make you money. By announcing it a month in advance, every ECW mutant in the Northeast will make sure they get a ticket to the show. Hell, some of them might actually watch the PPV legally instead of streaming it.

After tonight, I have no idea what they will do with CM Punk or Chris Jericho. CM Punk is basically a face again, and Jericho got beat clean after calling out Punk. No reason to continue the feud, but Punk could go back to heel at the whiff of a fart.

Could they go back to Cena/Punk again? Cena could bring up how MITB 2011 still haunts him, and Philadelphia will be just as hostile as Chicago was that night. 2013 is all about John Cena vanquishing his demons/failures, right?

No guarantees on that. Besides, RVD hasn't been in WWE in 6 years outside of a random Rumble appearance. It gives WWE a chance to introduce him to all the new fans/kids who will probably love him.

Just finished watching this PPV. The following are my thoughts:

- The IC title match started off real slow, but I eventually got into it. I didn't want Axel to win, mainly because it means Fandango isn't coming back and winning it. I liked the way they did the end of the match, though. Pretty much continued the "Curtis Axel wins matches but in non-credible ways" gimmick.

- I actually cared and got into the Divas Match in a big way. Kaitlyn is still not the greatest wrestler, but she works well with AJ. Good chemistry. I was rooting for Kaitlyn to win, and liked how they did it that "she defeated herself because of her emotions". Interesting to see where they go with Kaitlyn from here. I'm thinking they should have her break and go crazy as well. "All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy" and all that.

- Dean Ambrose vs. Kane..... nothing to write home about. The replay I was watching was of a laggy stream, so I couldn't really get into it.

- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RVD is coming back. Hate that guy so much. This better be a one time thing. I'm ok with a one time thing. CRIMINAL to bring him in when you still have Christian sitting off of TV.

- Dolph Ziggler vs ADR: They really surprised me with this Double Turn business. On the one hand, I am all for turning Ziggler face.... but turning Alberto Del Rio heel again so soon is a mistake. Especially since I think he was doing so well as a Face. Still, I am interested to see where it goes.

The scenario in my head goes that AJ and Big E leave Ziggler to cement his face turn. Ziggler wins MitB again, and this time "vows to do things differently, and cash in at Summerslam, face to face". Meanwhile, AJ then joins up with Kaitlyn, who is now crazy like her, and then the scenario in my head gets NSFW.

- Chris Jericho and CM Punk had a fantastic match. Perhaps the best of their series. Also, they seem to be teasing a CM Punk/Heyman rift/Face Turn which I am all for.

- The Tag Title Match was probably one of the worst matches I have seen that have involved The Shield. Felt rushed. I've been "really into" all the other matches The Shield has had, but didn't have time to get into this one.

- The Cena/Ryback match(es) really surprised me, in that I actually enjoyed it. I don't know where they go with Ryback from here, though.

I was away so I missed most of it and couldn't get the stream working when I got back. But from reading the results I didn't get the sense that there was a double turn for Del Rio and Ziggler. Did I miss something?
