Just read that the XB1 will, eventually, let us make our own games. If it's accessable without much knowledge of the really techy side, I may be interested eventually.

Pretty sure this is just an outcropping of the XNA program (which is being updated into something else for the Bone). While it's still cool, I doubt you can program your own games. (edit) Without some tech savvy, that is. Obviously you can program your own games if you know what you're doing.

I'm glad consoles are backtracking on shutting out the indies, though.

Namely Microsoft, since both the Wii and PS3 evidently became much more indie friendly over the last couple.
