Agreed. Charlie Manuel had no reason to get canned. Ruben Amaro should have traded away half the roster since they're the ones who all flipped the off switch.

Not sure who's contracts are up when it comes to managers (I know Girardi's is), but I'd be calling him the second the season is over if I was an owner/gm.

To be fair, Manuel will be 70 before next season. He might be content to just hang 'em up at this point.

I'm still baffled by this. Amaro drove Pat Gillick's well-built team into the ground and spent twice as much money doing it.
