Vince McMahon's on-screen character is an evil, heartless bastard who will fuck with anyone. And anyone with an on-screen role is also a character as well. This kind of shit is as old as the face/heel dynamic. It even has a name: heat. Why is Jim Ross supposed to be immune to it?
