And yeah as mentioned, I have my doubts on Vanek staying with the Isles unless they put together an even better run than last year. They were going to lose Moulson to free agency anyway so that evens out - but losing a 1st and 2nd for a rental is a huge risk if they don't play deep into the playoffs.

Some have made the argument that the Isles have enough talented young players waiting in the wings to make losing the picks be a non-issue, but you can never have enough depth.
