I played a bit more today, still not sold. I'm not a fan of all the urban maps, the colour schemes. I think it's the sound effects that are bothering me the most about the gameplay, however. A big issue with the urban maps is all the debris and architecture, it's too easy to get stuck on stuff like a fucking moron, or be running against something you can't see. This was always a big issue for me in Battlefield 3 too, why should your guy would get stuck running against stuff maybe knee-high. He should just step over it, or fucking trip, not run on the spot like a twat. But climbing up ladders, fucking hell. I don't understand why they make it possible to slide sideways off a ladder. In what way is this a thing that should happen? Every other game on the planet a ladder becomes something you attach to, not this slidey surface you can rotate all around. Trying to get up a ladder is a definite skill in this game of cluttered, urban multi-level maps.

The set-up is confusing, I don't know what the fuck this squad members thing is supposed to be about, what does it do? It's just different avatars? What is the point? The whole thing is very cluttered.

I'd probably have been happy to keep playing Black Ops 2 if not for the awful connection issues. It was excellent in regards to gameplay and the set-up, this isn't grabbing me right now and the game latency is still a massive factor, you just can't see the quality of the connection.

I've heard the notion is that you level up several characters and then you can take them into a battle with you. Seems a strange alternative to prestiging to level up several times, in order to build up weapons on a team of AI characters who will no doubt be rubbish anyway. I don't know who this mode is for.
