I wish Christian would be more like Edge
In the character sense. I miss having a character like Edge around. The sneaky heel that was the ultimate opportunist, Edge had it down so well, and I think the only other person around today that can play that character is Christian. Instead he's stuck as some bland face. What do yall fellas think?

Definitely prefer him as a heel, and he can play the sneaky part well.

The closest character in comparison with Edge's now-a-days is probably Randy Orton, and Randy Orton is no where near as entertaining as Edge. Really wish Christian would come back and take over, even if it's on the mid-card, it's still an awesome character that works well in WWE.

Christian could really use a shake-up. I love the guy as a overall performer, but it seems he has two shticks:

1) Slimy heel

2) Plucky happy-go-lucky babyface who rarely talks. Seriously, why don't they let face Christian talk?

A huge problem is that there is no connect between the two. When Christian turns heel, he suddenly becomes an entirely different cliche from the one he was already playing. There should be some continuity between face Christian and heel Christian. Perhaps Eddie Guerrero could serve as a good template for Captain Charisma? A babyface that everyone loves who cheats his ass off to win matches.

I also think that something aesthetically should change about Christian. Whether it be new entrance music, a new logo, a specific color-scheme, a different hairstyle or different ring gear -- I'm not too sure -- but I feel that we've had the same Christian since his return to the WWE. At least give him the swank jackets back!

Also, in the ring, while he is brilliant, I feel that the choice to have him use the Spear (whoever's choice that is), is kind of silly. I wouldn't mind it if Christian busted it out in random matches against Rey Mysterio, for example, but setting up for the move against a Big E. Langston would just look stupid. There are other moves he could take from Edge to remind the fans of his connection with him. How about the Edgecator, Edgecution or Edge-O-Matic?

If Christian does return next week at the Slammy Awards, he should align himself with CM Punk against The Shield in time for TLC. I know the plan is to have two 3-on-1 Handicap Matches, but to make the matches a bit more believable and such, it could be good to have someone suggest that these matches are a bit unfair, and allow Punk and Bryan each to pick a partner for their matches against The Wyatt Family and The Shield respectively. Punk chooses Christian and Bryan chooses...fuck it, whoever. Maybe even The Miz, despite the fact that the two should still hate each other. He does have a movie coming out.

Punk & Christian can beat The Shield, causing a rift between The Shield, and hopefully Christian gets some legs to stand on before the Royal Rumble, where he challenges Dean Ambrose for the US Title. Maybe Christian could even cheat his ass off to win the title at that event? Give the guy something to do.

Would love if Christian had a long run in the Royal Rumble match, maybe even be a surprise entrant too. Until that rumble where Orton, Rhodes, DiBiase Jr., & Triple H were the final 4 I've never been too impressed with the final 4, but before that I always thought it was a huge deal to be in the final 4 in the Royal Rumble. Maybe this year could bring back the importance.

Which is to say, MAYBE... MAYBE... Christian 2005 would be the guy people were dying to see again, not a character like Edge. Probably not, but they still screwed that up, to the shock of no one.
