but I tend to agree that on the hot crowd/iwc end there is no pleasing anyone. Everyone screaminf for DB to be champ and the day after he gets that belt its gonna be oh roman reigns is so much better, db sucks

Of course you can't please everyone. However, there undoubtedly will be folks who do immediately jump on someone else's band wagon if/when DB becomes champ.

That being said, the reason why most of the adult audience wants to see DB as the champ, is to see fresh matchups and faces in the main event/world title scene. We've seen Cena vs Orton, Cena vs Punk, Orton vs Batista, Cena vs Batista all feud and headline some big time PPVs in the last few years. So now we're going to get basically the same feuds and matches that we've all seen in the last 5 years, often for the world title and sometimes multiple times. It's stale.

You know what we haven't seen in the main event/world title scene in the last 5 years? Someone as over as Daniel Bryan for one thing. Outside of Punk's long reign and Rock's title reign, it's been at least one of the same 3-4 guys feuding and/or headling PPV after PPV for the world title. It's time for some fresh faces in the title scene, even more so when they're over and talented.

I'm not saying throw random guys into the world title hunt, but when someone really starts to get over ala Daniel Bryan, don't drag out their ascension into the world title picture and ultimate payoff indefinitely either. I think it's safe to say that if Bryan had been in the Rumble and not won, there wouldn't be nearly as big an uproar. For example, the final four could've been Bryan, Batista, Punk and Sheamus and had an awesome ending that wouldn't have left folks asking why the most over guy on the roster wasn't even in the match.
