I get the feeling I am one of the few people who grew up in the 80s and hated Hogan back then. Maybe it is because I grew up in NWA and Mid South country. But even as a kid I found him boring. He is a major reason why I wasn't that much into WWF.

Rock is a bigger star but not a bigger wrestling star. Hogan became as famous as he is because of wrestling. Rock's popularity for the average person has to so with his movies.
