Tie between Hogan's leg drop and the cobra. Neither have any real impact nor are they "entertaining". For a finisher to be good it either needs to have impact and look impressive like the Stunner or F-5, or it needs to be over the top and fun like the people's elbow or the worm. Hogan's leg drop was just that... a leg drop, and the cobra is damn near on par with the finger poke of doom.

How is the Cobra not over the top and fun?

Also it's the best because no one has ever kicked out of it.

Gotta go with Hogan's Leg Drop. As dumb as something like the People's Elbow or the Worm might be, they at least did big impactful moves to set them up- the Rock Bottom or a spinebuster, etc. Hogan just did either a lazy big boot or a generic scoop slam before dropping the leg, and it never, ever looked good.

Rey Mysterio's splash is pretty awful too. The smallest guy in the company falling on you should not be a finisher. Hell, Rey and the other luchadores don't really need KO finishers, since part of their whole deal is they're so fast and tricky that they can just roll you up for the win before you realize it. Having him just know a billion ways to do a hurricanrana is enough.

Leg drops hurt, dude. Especially from 300lb dudes.

Worst finisher was Foley's mandible claw before he got Mr. Socko.

If we're going by realism standards then 90% of the best finishers in the world wouldn't be all that great. The Rock Bottom? Seems like a DDT would be more devastating. Hell a suplex is probably as painful, if not more so.

Hell if realism is the makings of the best finisher then Big Show's WMD or Knockout Punch is the greatest finisher ever because it makes more sense than almost any of them considering that it's quick, requires almost no set up and in reality a punch like that from a giant would probably do more damage than just being dropped on a mat.

This is professional wrestling, not a real sport. A finisher should be judged by how much of a spectacle it is, not how much damage it'd actually do or how realistic it is.

The Cobra is a jab to the THROAT oh yea its damn effective.
