Have him come in as Khali's brother with a fondness for baked savoury snacks, he'd be Samosa Joe.

Or, instead of going the "obvious" route of presenting him as a savage, they could go the other way and have Joe be a sophisticated, smoking-jacket-wearing gentleman; Samuel Joseph, Esq.

Of course, they should just bring him in as Samoa Joe. Why not use the name recognition he has built over the last 10 years?
