IMO, Vengeance is actually a damn good card. It just doesn't have any build-up.
And i think that Michael Cole and J.R. should be on the SummerSlam poster. Like the Rock/Brock pick only with Cole/J.R. ![]() Speaking of which, Is NoJabba's thread still up in casual ![]() |

The card is okay, its going to seem like gold compared to the Bash, but its not great for a RAW PPV. HHH-Benoit could be as good as MOTY, and worse case scenario it will be a "good" match, unless they do something dumb like over book it with Euegene or do a DQ .
Orton-Edge is a crap shoot, I thought their match on RAW a while back was a train wreck at first, but settled down to a good finish. They've been working a lot on the road, os it should be better than it was on RAW. But it could also be ugly. Jericho-Batsita wont be bad, but it wont be great either. Tag title match has no heat, but with Eugene and Flair it will likely get over live. Probably will be more fun than actually being a good match. Kane-Hardy will be up to how well Hardy bumps around for Kane. I dont expect much form this one though. The other problem with the show is that they still have as many as 3 spots left open. I hate matches that get thrown on a show with no build, they usually come off dead on TV. Aside from a match with the girls, I cant see who else would be given PPV time. So on paper it looks like an average show, likely one really strong match, and a couple that could go either way. But I think the added matches will end up hurting the overall quality of the show. If this was a 2 hour show I'd say it looks really strong, but that third hour might be troubling. |
