Why reboot? Why not just shut it down completely? The aim of what you're trying to accomplish isn't going to happen, and frankly it's somewhat silly. Simply this: If you look at the facts, people are being hurt. Because of their opinions about games. Games are fun, but they shouldn’t be the most meaningful thing in your life. People are getting hurt. Even if it's "not actually your movement" why not just knock it the fuck off for the greater good?
