I'm down for Sting vs. HHH/The Authority.

I'd be happy for him to appear as a surprise replacement for one of the Cena guys.

I wouldn't be so keen on him coming in to be a GM.

I'd be happy with Team Authority to win by nefarious means only for Sting to appear on the ramp, point his bat at The Authority, signalling that he's coming for them.

However, I can't see Team Authority winning/Team Cena being fired as I can't see a way for those guys to come back with The Authority still in control.

They could do something with Cena overcoming the odds to win the match only to be beat down by The Authority after the match. Lights go out, come back, Mercury & Noble are out cold. Lights go out again, come back on and Kane is out. Same for Seth, until HHH is left. Then you have the lights go out one last time, strobe light hits, house lights come up fully and Sting is on the stage.

Obviously it would be kayfabe "fired" as such so they could well be "rehired" as Authority cronies.

One possible scenario is they turn on Cena or refuse to be tagged in and one by one walk off much to the amusement of the Authority?
