If they were not a public company a whole offseason would work.

But no way they could tell their shareholders HEY GUYS WE ARE GOING TO FOREGO LIVE EVENTS AND TV MONEY FOR A MONTH OR TWO TO KEEP THE PRODUCT FRESH.
