Go ahead and explore and have fun with thw sandbox but keep focused on the main questline until then. You dont want to have to respec your inquisitor just because you got distracted hunting elfroot for 18 hours

So guilty of this. Like god damn World of Warcraft. There was a great Shenmue line for this behavior, something along the lines of...

"I will avenge my brother's death!!
After I play this game, go to work
