Roman Reigns and The Authority aligning at Fast Lane:
Another possible scenario I had in mind, was the Authority interfering during the Bryan/Reigns match and messing with Bryan. At first, the fans wouldn't think much of it since they know that the Authority already dislikes Bryan, but then we see The Authority and their henchmen (i.e. Kane, Mercury, Noble, etc.), working in accordance with Roman Reigns. Think: Wrestlemania 17 - The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Reigns defeats Bryan with the help of The Authority. This then raises a few questions to be answered the next night on RAW. 1) Where does this leave Seth Rollins? 2) Where does this leave Brock Lesnar and his mild alliance with The Authority? The way I would spin things (if this scenario went down), is that The Authority have both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns as their main center pieces, but unlike Orton, are successful in getting Rollins and Reigns to work in accordance despite personal differences. With The Authority and Reigns now together, and with Lesnar opposing them, this leads to a Brock Lesnar face turn. Reigns basically plays the role that Batista played last year (i.e. fans turned on Batista and so Batista turned on the fans). |
