I want to make something clear here, too: I'm not a huge fan of Steen.

I personally feel about him the way I feel about HHH. BUT he's getting built and pushed like almost nobody else. They are creating a new star from a guy who made a name for himself on the indies instead of killing that momentum to make him a WWE creation from the ground up.

Its easier to take the proverbial ball and run with it when its a running play designed to be handed off to you. Its also better to get short gains over time than expect a touchdown every play.

With that said, I hope Owens succeeds, but I also hope they dont try to hotshot him into a main roster WHC win. Theyre doing fine building him how they're building him. They just need to treat other people the same way.
