I've said it before but I thought Cole and JBL were fantastic on SmackDown together in 2006-07 when it was clear Vince wasn't feeding them lines and forcing them to argue constantly. They argued but it felt natural and it was funny, not completely forced.
It's a shame that they have no real chance to thrive with Vince wanting complete control over commentary nowadays. |
