Its funny how they have wanted to create fake competition even since WCW closed shop. This is the most legit second brand they have created - where it has a different look and feel from regular WWE programming.
However, I hope they never try that because it will ruin NXT.

ECW was actually pretty great during the early months (July-Dec. 2006), but then they inexplicably took all creative powers away from Paul Heyman, which marked a huge dropoff in quality of the shows right around the same time Big Show went on his 14-month injury/surgery/weight loss time off until Feb. '08.
