PREVIEW: AGENT X VS RIC ROBERTS

This Saturday we will all find out who advances to Round #2 when current Genie In The Lamp Winner, Agent X takes on Ric "The Mic" Roberts in a Strap Match.

Both men have competed in this type of match before so it's safe to say there is no advantage there. And despite being together in CHW for the past 4 years, they never found themselves on opposite sides of the yard.

Yet at the tail end of Season 4, it seemed like they were going to form a bond. After aiding Agent X to eliminate Swede Savard from a Battle Royal, Ric decided to watch X's back and vice-versa. This strategy allowed Ric to make it all the away to the final 2, before getting eliminated by Devastator.

Team FTW wouldn't go away that easy as Ric & Agent X were given a chance to win the CHW Tag Team Championship before Season 5. This is when Agent X showed his true colors.

After a grueling back-and-fourth battle, X thought he had the match won after nailing Devastator with his Punt Kick. Once he failed to score the 3-count, he abandoned "The Mic" and left him all alone to be torn apart by FTW. After a 3D through a table, Innovator picked up the scraps and the victory.

All these years later, Ric Roberts never had a chance at redemption. Until now...

Tune in on Saturday to see another quarter-final match in the 2016 King of the Yard Tournament as Ric "The Mic" Roberts takes on Agent X in a Strap Match.
This is gonna be great! "Born to wrestle", Ric Roberts taking on that pyromaniac Agent X in a strap match! I can't wait. These two have never faced each other before so this is the FIRST TIME we will see Agent X and Ric "THE MIC" Roberts face etch other!



Ric "The Mic" Roberts being helped up by Agent X when they almost formed a tag team. Unfortunately it ended in an epic SCREWJOB when Agent X walked out and Ric Roberts was devastated by DEVASTATOR, so I bet Ric Roberts can't wait to get his hand on Agent X!

Who do you guys think will advance? Who do you want to advance?

I have a feeling that CHW creative will have Ric Roberts win so that he can face off once more against Nikky Chance (who will be booked to beat Xristo) since they know a Nikky Chance/Ric Roberts match will draw.

I would like to see Agent X win myself. I'm a HUGE fan of Agent X, I think he is unappreciated in CHW and should be a permanent main eventer, fighting for the CHW title.

An Agent X/Swede Savard world title main event is a dream match for me!
