Hogan got another $25 million as punitive damages to go along with the $115 million from the first verdict.

According to reports, of the additional $25 million: $10 million will be owed by Gawker founder Nick Denton, its former editor A.J. Daulerio owes $100,000, and Gawker as a company owes the remaining $15 million

Also based on some reports and legal experts speculations, Gawker is currently expected to win the appeal trial if they can cough up the money needed by Florida law for it to happen. At the moment, they are getting very close to reaching their limit on what they can cover for the appeal.


Also according to reports, Hogan is set to get around $70 million should the current $140 million award stay in tact. Turns out Hogan owes a lot of money because of the trial.
