Eli Drake looks like he's trying to be The Rock with his movements.
And his promos. Like total original ironic "People's Champ"/usurping the NOD from Farooq era, not when he blew up and turned face because he was super over.
Seriously, he might as well get a ripoff of the bull arm tat as well.

Does he really? Ha! All I really knew about the guy was that he was on The Rock's reality show. I just went to look him up on Wikipedia again and the dude has been doing this for fourteen years. Holy shit. That's way too long to be that...not good. I imagine that the WWE saw that there was nothing to develop and thus let him go in 2014.
But man, did he so badly want to be The Rock? His acting was so over the top. He's a heel, so the super-expressive selling has its place, but he's not Rock, so he can't get away with it.
Holy shit, is this promo fucking awful or what? "YAH!" What the fuck? What it is with people in TNA trying to be purposefully bad? He's confident at talking, but the whole "Yah!" and "That's just a fact of life" catchphrase attempt is just...so horrendously bad.
