Dunno, a big part of me still can't get past the muted colour/grey colour scheme to the whole thing.

You can add as much "levity" as you want, but if the colours are still completely drained out of the thing, it isn't going to add much.

I hope I'm wrong and this movie is great.

No i agree the filter/art style are only really good for batman. In BvS and SS i was, due to the art direction, constantly hyper aware i watching a movie. Not able to be sucked into the narrative. Its clearly a descision they arent backing off of though. With that said i do think its important to highlight the levity since it was a major criticism from most veiwers. Theyre listening and theyre trying to correct course...lets hope they dont over correct...
