I have no issue with it. I'm an "on-and-off" watcher of the series.

My concern is that they're going through these actors like crazy. Always thought David Tennant was going to stick around for the long haul.

Now, The Doctor character is a pretty much a launching pad for up-and-coming actors. 2-3 seasons and gone. Sadly, the same goes with the companions.
