Credibility. She's a name. Casual fans know her as the greatest female fighter ever via years of mainstream exposure. The specifics of how her streak ended aren't a big deal. It's not as ingrained in the typical WWE fan's mind as her legacy.

I think the typical fan remembers her crying that losing gave her ptsd on the view and then going on to get humiliated again. It was pretty famous
