Can someone explain the hierarchy of the titles? Is the Junior Heavyweight title on par with the Intercontinental title?

I think the IC title has been built up to be a little bigger, but the Jr Heavyweight title is still a big deal. Much bigger deal than any cruiserweight title has ever been.

One tier below it but not like how WWE treats their titles where anything under WWE/Universal is meaningless unless someone great is champ.

It goes IWGP Heavyweight, IC, and then Jr Heavyweight in terms of importance.

Junior Heavyweight is basically the cruiserweight belt, but because they keep the divisions quite separate (other than the NEVER belts), it's the biggest belt these guys can go for.

IC title is almost as big as the world title. Nakamura had a long run, then Naito did and Tanahashi has had it for a long time now.

The US title is new as of this year, but with Omegas defences and Jericho coming in, it already kinda means something.
