Why the fuck was MVP brought back just to be in a backstage card game segment?

Seriously, if you're gonna bring the dude back for a one off just throw him in the Rumble, give him a shine spot, and send him on his way. Don't put him in a 20-person segment where you could easily not even notice he was there.
