I'm sorry. But I don't subscribe to everything being a concussion. It's the new SJW culture in sport. Like most things, the truth lies in the middle.
You notice how Mats Sundin (who was dealing with heavy body contact every night) didn't suffer the same trauma as Wade Belak? You don't think Mats was taking lumps to the dome? Enforcers were subjected to a fight pretty much every night they played. And likely remained quiet about concussion symptoms as a means to keep their job. Bryan's style in the ring has always been high intensity, and it caught up with him. But it's not the same as subjecting yourself to maliciously thrown haymakers at your head, night in and night out. |
