I don't know how Vince expected it to "work" in any sense that it didn't three years ago. It will just be one of those John Cena type things where he is the square peg in the round hole for ten years until he is finally respected and it clicks on people how good he is.

You're right that he is ahead. I am not saying Braun is a better prospect, but Reigns had had multiple chances, try something else, mix it up, you know? Plenty of guys can deliver good matches. Let's try something else and let Reigns build his way up instead of gifting him everything.

There are plenty of guys that are better than him in the ring and he is nowhere near as talented as Cena is. Not even close personality and charisma wise. Cenas talent eventually won people over, I don't think Reigns has the tools.
