If I remember, Shane's wreckless style is due to him wanting to prove to all the guys backstage he legit wants to be a wrestler and not just be given an undeserved spot because he's Vince's son.

Same for him not wanting to be treated differently even though Vince supposedly hates the way he wrestles.

He's practically killed himself every time he's been in the ring if he hasn't earned respect by now.........

Yeah he's earned the respect a long time ago but its probably also the only way he knows how to wrestle after all these years considering he's from the Attitude Era.
