It seems so unlikely, and still has many obstacles to overcome, but there is definately a market for something different. Those millions of fans that no longer watch RAW definately have a contingent that still like wrestling.
It just needs to be accessible and have a few names tied to it. Actually think Corgan has done a quiet, but really great job with NWA title so far. It will take years, but I think if people want to believe it has value and it is presented well, it can be somewhat restored |

He also appreciates old school wrestling and isn't going to get caught up in the gaga. His championship has gone from the gutter to being defended in front of 10,000 plus people. No matter what the buys are, that is incredible. Plus, now Cody can potentially defend his belt in the Tokyo dome in front of tons more people. Everyone involved can't ride the coat tails of All In. They have to book these "all in" type events to have their own unique themes. If they can find a way to book two of these a year to start, that'd be amazing. |

Sure but I don't have to. It's not a weekly program. I won't have to really care about it until they announce the rematch at NWA 70th or whatever match they make for that event. It's not about selling out stadiums, why would you even think that? And to be honest when has WWE ever actually sold out a stadium? They add 10, 20,000 to imaginary figures to each WM and give thousands of tickets away (for some events). |
