Thing is if it is a surprise winner I have no idea who it can realistically be. The Rock and Batista surely would've been leaked by now. CM Punk isn't returning. Hulk Hogan isn't wrestling at WrestleMania.

If those dates are correct, and the "medical issue" was the leukemia, then that could give a rough estimate on the timeframe, as he was evidently healthy after 3 months to get cleared and signed by another NFL team.

I would imagine he wasn't at top strength after chemo, which is why he probably got cut after a week, but still he wouldn't have been signed at all if he wasn't in full remission.

So hoping all goes well and the docs can get him back into remission, it is possible that a best case scenario is him being back at the Royal Rumble, which is a little more than 3 months away.

So it is at least possible, if unlikely.
