Also, he "squared up like he wanted to fight" is according to the cops, who always give their side of the story to make their arrest look "necessary" obviously... Idk what actually happened

If you're not taught/trained from birth to see the police as authority figures then some serious failures have taken place along the way. It is far and away the safest and best option to do as you're told around police officers. Especially American police officers given their access to firearms and proclivity towards using them around twats that won't do as they're told.

Do this in Spain and they don't shoot you, they fucking beat the shit out of you with the full support of the law. Even lipping off to a Spaniard gets you a good sized smack in the teeth.
