Or someone in WWE miscommunicated. It seems wrestling fans were prepared for the show to be a marathon, but when people heard things like "16 matches?!" they were like "this is going to go on forever!" like they were surprised. And you can't really trust wrestling fans to hold a job down in transit, so I can understand why they might of thought the reasonable end time.

Hearing all the nightmares of NJ Transit made me feel validated for my decision to run out of the stadium the second the main event ended. I don't know how many people fit onto that first double decker train but I was glad I was on it as I saw thousands of people queuing up waiting for the next one that didn't come for ages.

I don't think they had much of a choice. Unless they knew the exact spot for the finish, which I doubt, the spot was an obvious botch, how could you not mention the abnormality of the situation? Why do they blame the ref? Rhonda should have kept her shoulders down and Becky should have made sure that the pin was tight.

I guess the ref could have just restarted the count but that as well would have been weird and anticlimatic.

They never show the pinfall from a PPV after the show. They’ve been doing that for as long as I can remember. It’s supposed to entice the viewer into ordering future PPVs so they don’t miss out I guess.
