I don't love those hardcore matches - but if Mox uses those kinds of gruesome affairs to add to his mythos, and is still versatile in other styles, I'm all for it if it doesn't horribly shorten his career.

For instance, most of Foley's deathmatches were the shits, yet still gave him a special aura. But it was only effective because he worked so well with almost every kind of wrestler.

I hope Mox can maintain that balance because I like him.

All those “zany” things Vince wanted him to say he did to show how unhinged he is immediately got more hilarious after seeing him tear at Juice Robinson’s head with his fucking teeth.

Hate the idea of "non-sanctioned matches"..... only one I have ever seen done good was Ciampa/Gargano....

Don't like the idea of the main event of their second show ever being "non-sanctioned" either..... Feel like there has to be like a deep seated hatred/long-standing story as to why they would do that..... not on their second show ever.....

Opening triple threat tag match was great.... that's the way to start a show, not with some terrible Battle Royale.....

I think the team who least should have won the thing won it, though..... think Private Party should of obviously gone over here.....

Promo by The Dark Order was pretty bad.... At least they have a name now.... also way too long spent with the lights out.... need to tighten that up for quicker appear/vanish......

"Documentary" segment pretty bad too.... really wish they would cut Kenny Omega away from being goofy and just present him as a "big deal star"....... All this does is hurt him....

A gimmick about someone who reads a lot and pushes books on people could be good..... but this librarian gimmick is terrible, and they gave it to two people......

Also, why do a hardcore match when you have a non-sanctioned match that will no doubt get hardcore later on?

Props to Khan for immediately squashing the idea that chair shots to the head will be part of AEW. Even with the take that it was a gimmicked chair, it shows how quickly something like that can go wrong. It's just not worth the risks knowing what we know in 2019.

Daniels/Cima a good little opening..... always thought it was cool as a kid when you'd have rasslers from other feds and they always seemed "cool and different" like "whoa there is a bigger world"..... now that I'm an adult and old and jaded, I don't care as much....

Its meant to be two different matches even though they share similar rules. Like how a Hell in a Cell is meant to be a more brutal version of a cage match or a Street Fight being more brutal than a No DQ or Falls Count Anywhere match.

The idea being that a non-sanctioned match is too brutal for AEW's own liking but they won't actively stop the two guys from beating up each other. Whatever happens is those guys fault and they are not getting paid for it as well.

Nyla Rose vs. Japan match was real good, but ending was a bit anti-climactic.....

Definitely a much better showcase for Nyla Rose than her match at Double or Nothing and being overshadowed by Awesome Kong..... seems like smart booking would have kept them apart, and built up to a confrontation between them.....

MJF promo was just "alright", but he's got potential....

Jungle Boy and Jimmy Havoc both seem "bad"....

Adam Page with some sweet pyro.... but still doesn't seem or look like a main event talent.... Let's see how the match goes....

Was an alright match, but felt very much like "filler".... Better showcase for Adam Page than that dumb battle royale.... I could see him working good with Jericho now actually....

Great match between Cody/Allin.... was not expecting to see a time-limit draw at all.... Was "weird" at how time was "winding down" and Cody was all "what do I do?" instead of "Oh, I better try my finisher now".... only finally tried for his finisher at 30 seconds or so....
