Okay, real technical reason why the 2K20 faces are so bad:

Seems like they're using a new facial scanning tech which is actually pretty fucking high quality on the assumption that what 2K has shipped is exactly what was scanned or a lightly edited version of it.

1. WWE hoarding talent and having such a giant fucking roster

and

2. Project budgets

You can see there has barely been any dev time allowed for fixing these faces which are essentially a picture of someones face plastered on a papier-m�ch� head.

Others have also mentioned about Visual Concepts likely using new tech for this year's game but between having to make it work with Yukes engine and dev time issues, the odd looking faces are the end result.
