I have to admit, it is fun to take shots at AEW. Whenever you do, you are immediately called a WWE apologist or it’s implied you’re on the take. It’s ludicrous stuff. There’s no way you can just not enjoy a promotion that can’t figure out that if you’ve got Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard under contract you should actually let them talk.

Good news for WWE though: Since this Matt Hardy shit is supposed to be the revolution we are all hoping for (pfft), WWE should get all those people, because AJ vs. Taker was better than anything Matt Hardy has ever done in his singles career. Will be interesting to see how AEW follows it up. Can’t wait to see that Matt Hardy magic.

Raw is losing viewers, but I think that number scared people more than it probably should have. They only lost about 4% of viewers last week, or 80k. It looked worse because it dropped below that magic 2 million line. AEW lost 16%.

This situation isn’t good for wrestling, but we’ll see who can adapt better.

Also, I know I'm probably in the minority here, but although I saw what they were doing with Cena and Wyatt, I couldn't get into it in the slightest.

We're told it was to be a match, so naturally we get...a 15-20 minute talk show segment that looks like it was filmed in a hybrid of a horror movie and a bad Twilight Zone episode.

I think Brock vs Goldberg was the best match at WM 33 and it was maybe 5 minutes long.

Apparently WWE didn't even bother to follow their own coronavirus prevention rules when it came to taping the Boneyard match.

Besides the sizable amount of talent used, they also had a somewhat large production staff on site as well.

A photo from the set revealed 15 people and that's not counting Taker's druids and any other production people that might have been off camera.

Noid being so deeply hurt and offended by AEW is what this WM should be remembered for. Feels more entertaining than anything else I have read about the last couple days.

P.S. Noid were you on the Broken Matt Hardy bandwagon last time around? Cant remember and CBF searching... always sounded fucking ridiculous to me, no less so this time around.

But hey buried alive always seemed stupid as fuck to me so whats the odds? I like biker Taker over Deadman everytime. Maybe its the WCW mark in me doesnt get the Taker nostalgia.

I was absolutely not on the Matt Hardy bandwagon last time and got shit because I didn’t like something different and didn’t find it funny or whatever. Used to actually like Matt Hardy, but the Broken Universe stuff was just fucking stupid.

Buried Alive is an awful concept. That’s a thing I just couldn’t get into with this one. I totally buy AJ as a prick, but as someone that wanted to murder Taker? That’s just a bit much. Never been a big fan of Taker myself. Don’t like the zombie stuff, but honestly I think I just found him pretty boring. My first introduction to him was his bury-fest around 2001 though. I was impressed by his actual performance this time around though, and his matches with Shawn Michaels are classics.

If you take out the 2 movie productions, I really don't think the show was that horrible. Yes, it wasn't what we are use to seeing for something called "Wrestlemania," but given the circumstances, I cannot say it was a total failure. I see a lot of people shitting on Edge/Orton because it went too long. Maybe it could have been a bit shorter, but that was probably the only match I felt invested in as a whole. Several of the other matches were good, not great, but good. Charlotte/Ripley was a pretty good match too.

As far as I'm concerned, I really think the 2 movie productions hurt the show than helped it. The digs at Cena (especially the Nikki one) in whatever the hell that was, made me chuckle a bit, but it wasn't anything close to a match, brawl or fight. And seriously, if that's what wrestling is going to become now, I think I'll finally have to move on from it. Started in 1993 when I was 8 years old and I just cannot get behind that type of product moving forward.

It's possible that Orton has more bad matches in Mania history than anyone ever.

My match ratings pretty much lead to an equal show both nights. But night 2 had such a horrible long match (Orton and Edge) night 1 has to be considered better. Firefly Funhouse was cool, I preferred Boneyard but it was well done for this program with Cena. Would've like more violence before it was over but it was good.

Really sick of the simple WWE heavyweight main event formula they've been doing for quick matches.

Also Edge overacts the hell out of all the drama. Horrible actor. You can tell he was trying to bring his "acting talent" to this program and it was shit.

Also when Cena disappeared the lights should have gone out and they come back with Bray standing over Cena in the regular ring with a regular ref sitting there like he just counted the 3, implying that the match did occur and that all the shenanigans were entirely in Cenas head while he was getting beaten by the Fiend in the ring.
