at Corbin losing via roll up finish.

Elias vs. Corbin was somewhat decent but WWE picked one of the least interesting pairings to kick off this IC tournament.

Guess its more of a perception issue since they didn't really need to strip him that quickly considering Jordan Devlin got to keep his Cruiser title and he hasn't been able to work for NXT since travel bans got enacted.

Could have avoided the negative online backlash and feeling he's being punished despite WWE's promises beforehand if they had just made this an Interim IC tournament instead.
