As much as I like Cornette, I wouldn't be surprised if this shit was true. Think about the industry as a whole, and how this stuff seemed commonplace -- especially in Cornette's era.

First, you have Moolah. All the old-school guys like Corny and Bruce still won't acknowledge what she did, even though they're definitely well aware. You have commentators with the inside jokes in the 80s about "Terry Garvin's school of self defense." The Mel Phillips stuff and the Pat Patterson rumors. Grizzly Smith was a sexual predator, and people still talk about him glowingly unless they're Jake Roberts.

At the end of the day, if the casting couch stuff happened in Hollywood, how could it NOT be a thing in wrestling -- which has always proved seedier.
