AJ Lee - Before she even had her successful championship run, she was a big part of a lot of storylines, and worked aside main event men. She was the GM of Raw, was certainly the one who stood out as the best female during the beginning of the Total Divas era, and after her successful run when WWE tried to go back to 2 minute "diva matches" the #givedivasachance came about. As much as WWE ignores it, or tries to portray Paige as the kickstarter of the Evolution, it was AJ. This was my hardest pick, hence the long explanation. Becky Lynch - She is the only female to truly ascend to face of the company level of superstardom. She was the easiest pick. Charlotte Flair - She is the John Cena of the women's division. Just by the sheer amount of accolades WWE has given her for 5+ years going back to NXT, it's impossible to leave her off. Stephanie McMahon - While she rarely wrestles, she has contributed more to the storylines over the last 2 decades+ than any 3 females combined. As much as others accomplished prior to AJ Lee, it's hard for me to say they should be included when WWE themselves never gave any of them a shot at being an equal part of the show for any sustained amount of time. |
