Wonder if Matt Hardy's pairing with Private Party is meant to be a callback by Hardy to the time when Michael Hayes managed the Hardy Boyz early in their WWE careers.

Freebirds were a very popular team during Hayes wrestling days and him managing the Hardys was like an endorsement of them being the next big tag team in wrestling.
