tbh I think if NXT wasn't WWE's third weekly show it would be doing much better against AEW. WWE is saturating the market, even if it is technically a different product. AEW is the one thing non WWE people can watch to change it up.

I hardly ever watch NXT. After RAW and knowing I will prob watch some of SD as well I tend to want something a bit different on Wednesday, not just more of the same.

What are you talking about? NXT is the only show that GAINED in the demo from last week's number. Maybe AEW should move to Tuesday's by that logic.

Or maybe the 0.175 difference in the ratings isn't really a big difference like the "panic that NXT should move" narrative pretends it to be.

They are happy with staying on Weds and giving AEW consistently average ratings. NXT isn't supposed to be winning ratings as they are the WWE's third brand. That NXT won any days at all is a major failure to AEW's only show.

AEW would only improve from NXT's moving to Tuesday and I don't think NXT would improve enough to justify the move.

Would prefer NXT and AEW on different days, tbh. In the era of DVR and next-day replays, ratings wars are kinda pointless.

TNT pays for production and splits advertisement revenue with AEW, and they have no big advertisers. They had Cracker Barrel for one PPV over a year ago. It would probably be in their best interest to just cancel it altogether.

Lol, exactly. That along with all the bragging the wrestlers are doing about how they have the biggest contract of their whole careers, they are certainly not raking in profits based on getting a .175 higher rating than NXT.
