tbf when the movie dropped the characters werent very fleshed out. those versions were the definitive versions

I probably should have clarified. What I meant was that the Annihilation versions of Sonya and Raiden were played differently than in the first movie. Sonya turned into a mopey, whiney, tantrum-fueled girl and virtually all of the humor and charm was sucked out of Raiden.
